I am french and i know it’s “un ordinateur” or “l’ordinateur” the “l’” replaces “Le” but since “le” cannot be said, it became “l’” so yeah its male.

Hello – Actually the story about NASA and the pen is a myth. NASA considered using pencils but considered the lead dust and the possibility of a broken tip to be a potential hazard to the capsule instruments and electronics, and the pen they used was actually developed by a private company for writing on any surface before the space program even started.
